We encourage anyone who shares our values to apply today!We are proud to offer our employees:Apprenticeship and Comprehensive Training ProgramsPaid Holidays Upon HireCompetitive Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceHSA with Employer ContributionPaid Time OffCompany Paid Short-Term Disability & Life InsuranceSafety Bonus ProgramEmployee Stock Ownership ProgramWork Travel IncentiveHoliday BonusAnd so much more!Responsibilities:Aid teammates in the completion of commercial and industrial projectsTake continuous direction from estimators and supervisors to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.Handle the loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipmentEnsure attention to detail and follow safety standardsGain essential skills to progress within the HVAC department.Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.Support the installation of various types of HVAC equipment including, but not limited to dust collection systems, exhaust and ventilation systems, VAV systems, rooftop units, split units, ductless systems, chiller systems, refrigeration piping, and environmental chambers.Support other installers on various projects.Ensure the work vehicle is always well-stocked.Requirements:Mechanically inclined with common hand tools (tape measure, power drills, levels, screwdrivers, etc.).Minimum of 3-4 years' experience in the residential or commercial HVAC setting.Ability to work effectively with all personality types.Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions.Self-directed and can work independentlyValid driver's license.Measure, cut and install duct work and auxiliary componentsInstallation of HVAC equipment including, but not limited to mini splits, rooftop units, make-up air units, and exhaust systemsUtilize proper brazing methods to install interconnected piping for HVAC systemsLay out reference points for installation of structural and functional componentsCut or drill holes in floors, walls, or roof to install equipmentMeasure, cut, and thread pipePreferred Requirements:Blueprint readingEPA 608 CertificationEquipment experience: (Preferred)Aerial-lift Operation - Boom & ScissorForklift Operation - Material Handling up to 5000#Chauffeur LIC/Med DOT PhysicalTrailer Loading and Securing of MaterialRigging Requirements:Signal or verbally direct workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads to ensure safety of workers and materials.Utilize and understand the constraints of chains, synthetic, metal mesh, and wire rope slings.Use & recognize rigging hardware including hooks, shackles, wire rope clips, clamps, eye bolts, softeners and tag linesIdentifies common load configurations & positioningRigger 1 training – trains on abovePhysical Requirements:Must be able to ascend/descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs, and/or operate scissor/boom lifts while working at height.Work in permit & non-permit required confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment.Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds regularly/occasionallyMust be able to respond quickly to auditory alarms, visual signals, or other effective means to communicate hazardsMust be able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.Must be able to work in cold/hot environments.Must be able to traverse irregular and steep terrain.This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions, and nothing herein restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
