Database Administrator 2

Job Description Ongoing support of our 700 production Microsoft SQL Server databases, including SQL tracing, blocking identification and performance tuning; tuning of SQL commands and stored procedures; handling access requests for databases; writing/updating Microsoft SSRS reports; writing/supporting Microsoft SSIS packages. Experience 5 years as a Microsoft SQL database administrator Familiarity with: SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) HA Technologies (SQL Repl, Availability Groups, Windows Clustering) T-SQL Visual Studio (to build SSIS packages) PowerShell SQL Agent automation Report Server Configuration Manager SQL Sentry Active Directory SolarWinds DPA Idera SQL DM Idera Admin Tools Native tools like DMVs, Performance Monitor, and Extended Events Qualifications College degree preferred Preferred Qualifications Experience developing SSIS packages and SSRS reporting PowerShell development experience Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite ETL processing and/or linked server integrations Discrimination statement Everforth Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
