Senior Accountant, Wholesale

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant, Wholesale in Saint Louis, MO. Summary: We are seeking a Senior Accountant, Wholesale to support financial reporting, month-end close, and accounting operations for a growing business. This full-time role partners closely with Finance, FP&A, IT, and business leaders to deliver accurate financial reporting, analyze business performance, and drive process improvements. The client offers competitive compensation and benefits, growth opportunities and great team environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
- Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and account analyses
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and reporting requirements
- Analyze financial results and explain budget-to-actual variances
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support business decision-making and process improvement
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Public accounting experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close
- SAP or ERP experience is a plus
