Client Overview:
Our client is a local, well-established accounting firm in Bergen County that is expanding and hiring for a Senior Tax Associate .Salary/Hourly Rate:
$90k - $96kPosition Overview:
The Senior Tax Associate will join a collaborative and growing team with a focus on tax preparation for individual, corporate, and partnership returns.Responsibilities of the Senior Tax Associate:
- Handle all tax preparations for clients.
- Process returns for both personal and business accounts.
- Prepare financial statements as necessary on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Engage with outside clients for tax matters throughout the year.
- Utilize UltraTax for return processing and deadline management.
Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Tax Associate:
- 4+ years of prior tax preparation experience.
- Strong proficiency in Excel.
- Prior experience working for a regional or local CPA firm.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Tax Associate:
- Knowledge of UltraTax is a plus.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
