Shifts: Tuesday start dates with rotating weekends (day shift Sat and Sun, night shift Fri and Sat)


Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) to join a renowned healthcare facility in Dallas, Texas. This is a travel nursing position focusing on pediatric cardiac care in a high-intensity cardiac intensive care environment. The role demands a dedicated professional to provide compassionate and meticulous care to pediatric patients with congenital heart disease.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care

• Provide care for patients with congenital heart disease and manage post-operative recovery
• Manage arterial, central, and transthoracic lines
• Participate in central line and arterial line placements
• Assist with conscious sedation, intubation/extubation, and sternal closures
• Participate in ECMO cannulation and decannulation, CRRT, and manual PD

Requirements of the RN - PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care

• 1 year of Pediatric CICU/CVICU experience as a staff nurse
• 3-4 contracts in a dedicated pediatric CICU
• 2 years minimum PICU experience as a staff nurse
• Experience caring for neonatal cardiac patients
• Current PALS, BLS, ACLS certifications
