POSITION DESCRIPTION AsaCommercialJourneymanSprinklerFitter,youwilloverseecommercialconstructionjobsites,workinghands-onwithallaspectsofinstallation.Youwillmanagelargercrews,assigntasks,setgoals,andassistinthetraininganddevelopmentofapprenticesandotherteammembers.Additionally,youwillsupportjobsitehousekeepingtomaintainasafeandorganizedworkenvironment. COMPENSATION Hourly wage is set between $50.00 and $60.00 per hour, dependent on experience. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Organizematerialsandmaintainjobsitestoensureasafeandefficientworkenvironment. UnderstandandapplyNFPAstandards(13,13R,14,20,25)forcode-compliantFireProtectionSystems. Prepareandlayoutmaterialsandequipmentbasedonfireprotectionfabricationdrawings. Performcutting,fitting,andpipingconnectionsincompliancewithindustrystandardsandcode. Layoutandmarkpipeinstallations,passageholes,andsprinklerheadpositionsforthecrew. Readandinterpretfireprotection,architectural,andstructuralplansandspecifications. Leadjobsites,assigntasks,andensureefficientcoordinationofcrewsandmaterialstomeetprojecttimelines. Responsible for leading, exemplifying and promoting the Dave Jones culture and holding team members accountable to all Dave Jones safety requirements.
