Job Purpose The Relationship Development Associate is a hands‑on role focused on the tactical execution of growth and retention initiatives. Core Work Responsibilities Underwriting & Sales Support Underwriter Sales Empowerment: Act as a tactical partner to the underwriting staff by providing the specific marketing tools and sales materials needed to drive stronger agent relationships. Prospecting & Market Intelligence: Perform deep-dive research and compile prospecting data to assist underwriters in identifying new business opportunities within their specific territories. Actionable Follow‑Up Systems: Implement standardized follow-up email templates and manage "action item" workflows to help underwriters maintain high-value touchpoints with their agents. Agent Relationship Events: Handle the coordination and on‑site logistics for targeted agent events, creating environments that facilitate connection and community building. Marketing Campaigns: Set up and monitor marketing campaigns at the producer level to increase brand visibility and support acquisition goals. Relationship & Retention Program Support Program Execution: Assist in the coordination and daily execution of proactive retention and relationship strategies, including personalized engagement campaigns and packaging, shipping, and delivery logistics for marketing materials, gift items, and event‑related materials. Value‑Driven Connection: Execute the logistics for in‑person and virtual events and educational initiatives designed to increase brand advocacy and customer lifetime value. Community Management: Participate in digital discussions and facilitate community management across social channels to ensure a consistent brand voice. Data Maintenance Utilize CRM tools to maintain accurate records, track agent engagement, and provide reporting on campaign performance. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS Required 1–3 years of experience in marketing, customer success, or a sales support role. Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), email marketing platforms, and Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. COMPETENCIES Task Management Completes assigned tasks by organizing work, following established processes, and maintaining progress to support timely and accurate execution of marketing support activities. Resourceful Gathers required information, follows established guidelines to address routine issues, leverages learned knowledge and tools, and escalates non‑routine questions or obstacles with possible solutions to appropriate team members. Content Development Assists in ideating, preparing, and updating marketing materials by organizing information, using standard business tools and a basic understanding of our products/services, audiences, and our business. Collaboration Supports team and partner activities by sharing information, responding to requests in a timely manner, and coordinating assigned tasks to help meet timelines and deliverables.
