Medical Receptionist Pay: $18.00/hour Location: Parma, OH Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Duration: 3+ Month Assignment Work Setting: 100% Onsite Requirements: TB Test Required About the Role We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join a busy healthcare team in Parma. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, maintaining patient records, and supporting front desk operations. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner Answer incoming calls, direct calls, and take messages Schedule medical, behavioral health, and dental appointments Verify patient demographics, insurance coverage, and co-pays Maintain accurate patient information in electronic health record (EHR) systems, including EPIC Collect co-pays, balances, and other patient payments Scan and upload documents into patient records Perform appointment reminder calls Assist uninsured patients with Medicaid and financial assistance applications Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and clinical staff Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality Support overall clinic operations and patient flow Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Previous healthcare, medical office, or clinical experience preferred Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR), preferably EPIC Insurance verification and benefits interpretation experience preferred Knowledge of co-pays, coverage verification, and health plans preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Detail-oriented and dependable Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment Apply today to join a healthcare organization dedicated to providing quality patient care and exceptional service.
