CNC Machine Operator - 1st Shift

This expertise assures you of our ability to handle the largest and most complex packages quickly and efficiently. Panelmatic Inc. is seeking a dedicated and skilled CNC Machine Operator. The CNC Machine Operator produces a variety of sheet metal parts, which meet dimensional requirements. Set up and align parts per shop prints in preparation for CNC operations, and final fabrication assembly. Working either individually, or as part of a small team to produce metal buildings and enclosures. Job Duties: Consults blueprints, work orders, and/or schematics to safely construct a specified structure; develop additional sketches if needed. Selects appropriate material for each job based on the desired or necessary strength. Load and unload raw materials and equipment, set up and calibrate accessories, and program the CNC machine Cuts, bends, and shapes sheet metal to required dimensions. Measures and cuts according to specifications, blueprints, or directions. Verifies conformance of workpiece to specifications, using square, ruler, and measuring tape. Perform assigned work such as punching holes for screws or bending. Sets up and operates fabricating machines, such as brakes, and shears. Coordinates require shutdowns and startups of equipment. Develops and maintains records for projects and repairs Maintains clean and orderly workspace Performs other related duties as assigned Notify the lead person or Inspector when the product is ready for inspection Maintains a clean and safe work area each day and returns tools to their proper locations Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on the CNC machine
