LINK Staffing is hiring a  CNC Machine Operator in Southwest Houston, TX. This is a full-time, 1st shift role paying $28.00/hour .

This job is a good fit for someone with hands-on CNC machine operation experience who can run a preset CNC machine, monitor the cut, make minor adjustments when needed, and support mechanical assembly work during the shift.

This is not a programming role. Candidates should be comfortable working around CNC equipment, checking parts, using tools, and following work instructions in a manufacturing setting.

What You’ll Do

• Operate a preset CNC machine during production
• Monitor machine operation and watch for issues during the cut
• Make minor adjustments as needed to keep parts within requirements
• Load, unload, and check parts during the production process
• Use measuring tools to check part size, fit, alignment, and quality
• Perform basic mechanical assembly using hand tools and power tools
• Follow drawings, work instructions, and production steps
• Report machine issues, part defects, or quality concerns
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe throughout the shift

What We’re Looking For

• Previous CNC machine operation experience required
• Experience running preset CNC machines preferred
• Able to make minor machine adjustments when needed
• Mechanical assembly experience is a plus
• Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
• Able to use basic measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, or gauges
• Able to read and follow work instructions, drawings, or basic production paperwork
• Strong attention to detail when checking parts and measurements
• Basic computer skills for production or machine-related documentation
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform hands-on production work
