Step into a valued role providing speech and language therapy services to TK-8 students in a dynamic school setting. This contract position is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who brings expertise, compassion, and a commitment to supporting diverse learners. As the sole SLP at this site, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference with a manageable caseload of around 20-30 students. Spanish bilingual proficiency is essential, enabling you to connect with and support the communication needs of all students and families. This role is fully onsite, providing direct collaboration with school staff and a hands-on approach to fostering student success.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active California state SLP license and CCC-SLP certification
• Experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong bilingual (Spanish/English) communication skills required
• Ability to work autonomously and efficiently manage a diverse caseload
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and provide direct speech and language therapy
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to promote student progress
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation for compliance and progress monitoring
• Create and adapt therapy materials suitable for TK-8 students
• Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing professional development
