Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process legal documents and papers, such as summonses, subpoenas, complaints, appeals, motions, and pretrial agreements.
• Review and proofread documents and correspondence to ensure compliance with legal procedures and grammatical usage.
• Schedule, coordinate, and confirm court dates, appointments, and meetings.
• Conduct research and gather relevant information for cases.
• Assist attorneys in preparing for trials and court proceedings.
• Manage the organization and maintenance of complex case files.
• Coordinate and manage routine administrative work, such as opening and closing of files, billing, supporting multiple attorneys, and managing expense reports.
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, court personnel, and other relevant parties.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a litigation legal secretary or similar role.
• Proficiency in litigation support and case management.
• Advanced knowledge of legal terminology, regulations, and court system.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and case management software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to handle and maintain confidential information.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
