The Clinic Manager provides management of a physician practice office(s).Job Summary: The Clinic Manager provides management of a physician practice office(s).Responsibilities include:Working with physicians to provide information relative to the physician practice's financial and operational performance.Assisting providers with maintaining required licensure and credentialing.Ensuring overall compliance and safety practices for the clinic.Providing reporting from Epic and MUSC data management systems.Identifying opportunities for improvement within sites.Managing Epic work queues for capturing clean encounters.Transitioning policies and procedures to meet Central Billing Office defined standards.Leading new initiatives and implementation as directed by leadership.Managing employees and keeping track of employees' time, schedule, and performance.Ensuring that supplies are ordered in an effective manner and managing vendor relations.Managing Occupational Health services at these locations as necessary.Marketing and promoting Indian Land practices to surrounding communities.Transitioning of practices to new medical office space with growth as needed.Acting as a liaison to the hospitals.Preparing all bills for each site to process through AR department.Providing lead support for patient engagement and service recovery.May cover other clinic sites temporarily as needed.Job Duties: Supervision of support staff/supply management/Policy and Procedure implementation and management/vendor relations/scheduling and payroll/evaluation and feedback/service recovery/customer service.Preferred Experience & Additional Skills: Practice Management, basic computer skills including Microsoft Office suite, Power Point, customer service, problem solving and conflict resolution, high level of emotional intelligence, multi-tasking ability, operations finances, must be a people person.Benefits:Health, dental, vision, and life insuranceEmployer Sponsored Retirement PlanPaid time off and extended sick leavePaid Parental LeaveDisability insurance plan optionsContinuous professional and clinical trainingCompetitive payAnnual Merit IncreaseWellbeing resourcesTuition ReimbursementEmployee perks and discountsEmployee referral programFlexible schedule optionsCertification incentive programThe Medical University of South Carolina is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
