Direct Support Specialist
The Youth Enrichment Project is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and open-minded Direct Support Professional to join our team.

In this role, you will provide one-on-one support to an individual in their home and community, helping foster independence, confidence, and meaningful life skills. We are looking for someone who is kind, professional, respectful, and committed to creating a safe and affirming environment for individuals of all backgrounds and identities.

Schedule:
• Approximately 8 hours per week
• Weekday afternoons (Monday–Friday)

Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one support in the home and community
• Assist with developing independence and daily living skills
• Encourage community involvement and engagement
• Maintain a safe, supportive, respectful, and inclusive environment

Qualifications:
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work respectfully with diverse populations, including LGBTQ+ individuals
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus, but not required
