Occupational Therapist

Snapshot: We are seeking a pediatric Occupational Therapist to work 3 days/week in Murrysville, PA, 2 days/week in Homer City with school-age students. Timeframe: February (shadowing) through 26-27 school year. Job Summary An Occupational Therapist (OTR) provides school-based therapy services to students from preschool through 12th grade. This role focuses on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional participation in the classroom through direct therapy, IEP implementation, and collaboration with school teams. Responsibilities Provide direct occupational therapy services to students (PreK–12) Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success Complete required documentation , including: Progress notes Data collection IEP updates and annual reviews Participate in IEP meetings as needed Support student development in areas such as: Fine motor skills Sensory integration Activities of daily living (ADLs) Travel between school locations during the school day (if applicable) Requirements Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist License Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential Benefits Competitive pay commensurate with experience Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Company-paid life insurance and long-term disability Optional benefits: short-term disability, additional life, critical illness, and accident insurance Generous paid time off and paid holidays 401(k) retirement plan with discretionary company contribution Flexible scheduling aligned with school hours Continuing education and professional development opportunities Clinical mentorship and support About AOT, Inc.
