Nebraska Licensed Senior Medical Director

Providing strategic and operational leadership for utilization management programs, the full-time Nebraska Licensed Senior Medical Director will oversee clinical leadership, medical decision-making, and stakeholder engagement while working remotely and occasionally visiting the Omaha office for strategic meetings. Key Responsibilities Lead clinical leadership for utilization management programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals Oversee complex utilization review cases and ensure evidence-based application of clinical guidelines Act as a liaison to network providers and engage in cross-functional leadership forums to enhance quality improvement Required Qualifications Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Board Certified by an American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) board Preferred current, unrestricted medical license in Nebraska, or verification of attainment within 6 months of start 10+ years of combined clinical practice and health care industry experience Demonstrated experience in utilization management and medical necessity review
