This posting is for multiple openings of HVAC Technician at Covenant Children's Hospital in Lubbock, TX. We are hiring for Full-Time, Variable Shift opportunities.

In addition to meeting the requirements of the General Maintenance Mechanic, this position is required to perform repairs and maintenance functions and evaluate the effectiveness of all HVAC equipment, controls and related systems including but not limited to air handlers, package heat/cool units, heat pumps, refrigerators, ice machines, chillers, boilers and the HVAC pneumatic control and DDC systems in a safe and efficient manner. The position requires the individual to perform repair and maintenance function in patient rooms, offices, other assigned areas of the hospital as well as float to support off site Hospital owned properties.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: One to two years of formal training in mechanical or construction trades

• National EPA Section 608 Certification - State County City Trade License Authority upon hire

• 2 years of experience with HVAC operations and associated systems and equipment in an industrial institutional environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hospital experience

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
