Job Title: Planview Solutions Architect

Assignment Length: 6 months

Location: New York, NY

Hybrid: 3 days a week on site

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Planview Solutions Architect to design, implement, and optimize solutions using Planview’s suite of tools. This role combines technical architecture, project/program management, and stakeholder collaboration to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions across the organization.

This is a contract position with potential for extension or conversion. The role follows a hybrid schedule, requiring onsite presence several days per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business, finance, and IT stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective Planview-based solutions
• Design and present technical architectures, including solution diagrams and implementation strategies
• Lead and support full-cycle implementations of Planview solutions, ensuring successful integration with enterprise systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive delivery, alignment, and adoption
• Provide technical administration and solution architecture support for Planview (a SaaS platform)
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including Scrum calls, and support Agile delivery practices
• Develop and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and training materials
• Contribute to knowledge management efforts by creating, updating, and retiring documentation and knowledge articles
• Ensure optimal utilization of Planview platforms to enhance stakeholder satisfaction, improve process maturity, and drive efficiency
• Support governance processes and align solutions with industry best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in solution architecture, project/program management, or related roles
• Proven experience designing and implementing solutions using Planview (including Portfolios, Enterprise Architecture, and AgilePlace)
• Experience with at least three full-cycle Planview implementations
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks
• Solid knowledge of enterprise architecture principles and best practices
• Experience with project portfolio management (PPM) tools
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Experience with enterprise system integrations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial services or similar regulated industries
• Planview or related technical certifications
