Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit
Shift: Rotating 12x3 (7a-7p, 7p-7a) Must work every other major holiday
Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Requirements:
- Active or conditional RN license in Massachusetts
- 2+ years of experience as an RN in an ICU setting
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
- Skills checklist matching specialty
- EMR experience preferred: EPIC
- 2 recent ICU Charge RN/Manager/Supervisor references
- Up-to-date resume
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct bedside care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to implement individualized care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and participate in care team meetings
Compliance / Notes:
- Must float to Med Surg West 1 and West 3 as required
- Scrub color: Any color
- Flu vaccine required during the flu season
- RTO must be included at submission; availability not guaranteed post-confirmation
