Pay Range: $86.00 (Discuss with Recruiter if needed)
Schedule: 36-40 Hours per week 07:00-19:30; 19:00-07:30 (with a 1/2 hour lunch break) (Every-other-weekend; weekend nights Fri/Sat/Sun and weekend days Sat/Sun; holidays depend on unit needs)

Candidate Type: Traveler friendly – travel reimbursement available (VMS indicates travelers and block scheduling)

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience as an RN

• Qualified applicants MUST have at least 2 years of experience in Ortho-Neuro / Med-Surg

• Qualified applicants MUST have experience with ortho patients and PCA pumps , and EPIC experience

• Preferred: None listed

• Valid RN license

• Be willing to obtain State licensure

• UNEXPIRED copy of the candidate’s driver’s license

Responsibilities:

• As a healthcare professional in a clinical facility, you’ll provide RN care for an Ortho-Neuro Med-Surg unit with frequent elective orthopedic surgeries (hips, knees, shoulders) and common post-fall fractures, supporting smooth recovery and discharge readiness.

• You’ll manage common infusion needs for the unit, including IV fluids and PCA pumps, while adhering to safe nursing practice and unit workflow.

• You’ll collaborate with Charge Nurse/House Supervisor coverage, work alongside PCTs (vitals, FSBS, ADLs, and Foley removals), and follow Epic documentation and BLS standards to support consistent patient care.
