Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for patients undergoing elective surgeries such as hips, knees, shoulders, and handle neuro-surgeries including back & neck procedures.
• Utilize EPIC charting system efficiently for accurate documentation and patient management.
• Administer medications and IV Fluids accurately; manage PCA pumps without titrating drips.
• Support Charge Nurse and collaborate with Patient Care Techs to deliver interdisciplinary care.
• Ensure compliance with facility dress code by wearing royal blue scrubs.
• Participate in unit-specific orientation and fulfill floating requirements as dictated by unit needs.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license for the state of West Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in orthopedics and Medical Surgical nursing is required.
• Proficiency with EPIC system; EPIC training will be provided during orientation.
• Strong communication and teamwork capabilities for effective department operation.
• Adaptable to flexible shift requirements, including weekends and holidays as needed.
