A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Orthopedics and Neurosciences is sought for a position on a Medical Surgical Floor located in Parkersburg, West Virginia. The role involves providing high-quality patient care in a busy acute care setting. Candidates must bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Parkersburg, West Virginia
• Specialty: Medical Surgical Floor (MS)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 0700-1930 and 1900-0730, with a 30-minute lunch break
• Schedule: 36 hours minimum per week, every-other-weekend requirement (Fri/Sat/Sun nights or Sat/Sun days), holiday coverage as needed based on staffing needs
• Required Qualifications: Valid license to submit, BLS (AHA) certification, minimum of 2 years of experience, EPIC electronic health record experience, experience with orthopedic patients and PCA pumps
• Additional Information: Holiday shifts may be required depending on staffing; travel assignments may include being called off for low census. Floating to other medical-surgical units and within skill sets is expected.
• Responsibilities include managing patient care with a focus on orthopedic and neuro patients, utilizing EPIC documentation, and adhering to a 12-hour shift schedule.
