$125,000 to $185,000 total compensation package , including salary and benefits, depending on experience, litigation ability, and demonstrated results. Our practice focuses on catastrophic injury, motor vehicle, premises liability, construction accidents, municipal liability, nursing home negligence, and selected medical malpractice matters. We intentionally maintain a smaller caseload so our attorneys can devote significant attention to each client and prepare cases as though they are going to trial. We invest heavily in technology, AI tools, and modern litigation systems that allow our attorneys to spend more time practicing law and less time on administrative work. The Role We're looking for an experienced plaintiff-side litigation attorney who can independently manage a substantial caseload while collaborating closely with the Managing Partner on strategy and trial preparation. This position offers meaningful courtroom experience, direct client contact, significant autonomy, and the opportunity to grow into a senior leadership role as the firm expands. What You’ll Do You’ll manage personal injury cases from assignment through resolution, including: Developing litigation strategy and evaluating liability, damages, insurance coverage, and case value Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, and other court submissions Taking and defending depositions Appearing at conferences, hearings, oral arguments, arbitrations, and mediations Working with experts and preparing matters for trial Negotiating settlements while maximizing client outcomes Maintaining proactive communication with clients throughout the litigation process Collaborating with support staff to ensure cases continue moving efficiently Qualifications We're looking for someone who has: Active admission to the New York Bar At least five years of litigation experience , preferably representing plaintiffs in personal injury matters Experience independently handling depositions, court appearances, motion practice, and negotiations Strong legal writing and analytical skills Excellent client communication abilities Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail A proactive, accountable approach to case management Trial experience is a significant plus but not required.
