SAT / ACT Exam Prep Tutor
Location: Clermont, FL (In-Person)
Job Type: Part-time
About the Role
Huntington Learning Center in Clermont, FL is looking for analytical, results-driven exam prep tutors to guide high school students toward higher SAT and ACT scores. If you specialize in high-school level Math, Science, or Reading/Writing, this role allows you to make a direct impact on students' college admission goals using our structured test prep materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver targeted, one-on-one SAT and ACT prep instruction focused on either Verbal/Writing or Math/Science tracks.
- Assess individual student strengths and score targets to guide lessons, build test-taking stamina, and teach proven strategies.
- Keep students engaged and motivated while building their test-day confidence and skills.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required (STEM, Humanities, or Education degrees strongly encouraged).
- Subject Mastery: Strong proficiency in high school mathematics/science or advanced reading comprehension and grammar rules.
- Experience: 1 year of teaching, tutoring, or test-prep experience preferred.
- Availability: Willingness to work a minimum of 3 days per week with flexible afternoon, evening, or weekend availability.
- Commute: Reliable transportation to the Clermont center.
- Passion: Dedicated to helping students reach target scores and achieve their higher-education dreams.
