The scope includes evaluating the daily movement of commitments from manufacturing for past-due and future orders to update our internal ERP system and our customers' portal. We would want to see someone who is detail-oriented and has extensive Excel experience; a data analytics background/experience would be a plus. Excel certifications or high proficiency in Excel. 1st Shift - Schedule: 5:30 am 6 am start (8-hour shift) - Monday through Friday. This individual works closely with customers and internal personnel and will manage and resolve technical issues within a limited scope and contractual problems for both new and recurring programs, while maintaining business relationships with customers.
Functions and Responsibilities
- Represent the company effectively in situations requiring sound judgment, initiative, and discretion.
- Resolve problems independently within guidelines.
- Manage multiple project tasks.
- Prepare and transmit correspondence of a contractual and technical nature to the customer and to the company departments.
- Support program managers with technical issues within a limited scope.
- Tracks performance, maintains, and monitors customer metrics and reports results.
- Acknowledge purchase orders and amendments for new orders and others as assigned.
- Identify risks associated with contractual terms and conditions and develop, propose, and coordinate for internal review.
- Negotiate contract changes within established guidelines.
- Support long-term contract negotiations and assist program managers with proposal preparation.
- Provide change quotations and information regarding delivery and status on new jobs to customers.
- Recognize potential sales opportunities and pass them on to Program Managers for follow-up.
- Handles and communicates accounts receivable issues directly with the customer in support of Finance.
Qualifications
* HS Diploma or GED required / Bachelor's degree preferred
* Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills required.
* Attention to detail and accuracy are position-critical.
* The ability to troubleshoot and recommend solutions in a team environment is required.
* Computer skills and knowledge are a prerequisite.
