Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 8 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty License: State license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CRT, RRT Must-Have: Epic experience preferred Description: Please ensure the traveler is aware of the following: Upon accepting an assignment and starting your role, your unit manager may assign you to an "Emergency Team." There will be an expectation to stay at the facility until after the event passes or be part of the relief team. Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed on each emergency event, as impacts vary. By signing your travel contract, you accept the above and will report as assigned by your immediate unit manager if an emergency event occurs. You should not apply for this role if you are not comfortable with the above. Weekend coverage will be every other weekend. The unit will accept first-time travelers who are experienced Respiratory Therapists; no new graduates will be considered. Please be aware that local travelers are not accepted. Candidates must be over 65 miles from the site address. References are not required for submission; however, two manager or supervisor references will be needed for clearance to start the contract. Candidates must ensure their certifications are submitted in PDF format. Candidates who worked as permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must be separated from prior employment for one full year before returning. Modules will be completed during orientation and factored into the orientation hours. All candidates must have state licensure in hand upon submission. Resources should be prepared for any required certifications prior to the start of their position. NURSYS reports must be up to date within four weeks of the submission date.
