As a 100% employee-owned company, employees share in the long-term success we build together.With flexible ways of working and meaningful development opportunities, you’ll build a career you can be proud to stand behind.The OpportunityIn this role, you will have the opportunity to:Work with multi-discipline teams to develop design materials for project assignments for heavy civil works projects such as generation, power infrastructure (transmission, distribution, substations), solar, wind, dams,buried infrastructure, tunnels, etc.Perform analysis, design calculations, design sketches, and preparing geotechnical design reports to meet project requirementsPerform, coordinate, and manage geotechnical field investigationsCoordinate, manage, observe, and document geotechnical construction activities such as grouting, ground improvement, deep foundations, retaining walls, etc.#LI-DM2Key ResponsibilitiesFocuses on the coordinating internal teams and resources while working to understand client’s interest and needsDevelop structural technical specifications, plans, and details for projects such as power generation facilities,substations, transmission lines, solar sites, dams, canals, flood control projects, municipal water, wastewater, andpipelinesPlanning, designing, and overseeing geotechnical aspects for projects both in the office and in the field.Be able to travel on field assignments as required. Field time is estimated at 20 and 40%.Preferred QualificationsExperience with geotechnical investigations, grouting, ground improvement, deep foundations, and retaining wallsPrefer Master's Degree in Civil Engineering with Emphasis in Geotechnical EngineeringActive Engineering-In-Training (EIT) PreferredMinimum QualificationsRequires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing.Minimum of 1 year related work experience.All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.Work Environment/Physical DemandsHybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance and work assignments.Be able to travel on field assignments as required.
