Banquet Server

About the Property Stonewall Resort is a lakeside destination offering vacation, meetings, weddings, reunions, and romantic getaways. The resort features a rustic Adirondack-style lodge, a spectacular cottage collection, and a signature golf course surrounded by 1,900 acres of natural parkland. What You Will Do Set up banquet rooms, prepare tables, and assist with reception area setup per resort standards. Serve, bus, and clear tables during banquet functions, efficiently anticipating guest requirements. Assist in tea‑out, clearance, and breakdown of banquet rooms after events. Follow all local liquor laws, resort beverage policies, and sanitation standards. Maintain accurate meal counts, serve meals in the correct order, and perform proper wine service. Use glassware, trays, tray jacks, and other service equipment safely and professionally. Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and guests to fulfill all needs. Participate in ongoing training and assist in training on‑call service staff. Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and extended days, to meet business demand. Last Statement Provide assistance in other job classifications as determined necessary by immediate superior. Education, Experience and Skills Required Minimum one year in a food service position. Liquor experience preferred; banquet experience helpful. Customer service experience required. Excellent organizational, administrative, communication, and leadership skills. Tools, Machines, and Equipment Used Glassware, oval trays, tray jacks, china, glass, and silverware. Compensation Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
