Why You'll Love This Job Competitive pay with growth opportunities Leadership role with hands-on responsibilities Opportunity to work in a growing food manufacturing environment Comprehensive benefits package upon hire Collaborative team atmosphere focused on safety and quality Schedule: Monday-Friday 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM Position Details Position Type: Evaluation-to-Hire Location: Ferndale, WA Pay: $22.00 - $24.00/HR What You'll Do Lead and coordinate daily activities on assigned production lines Enforce food safety standards, GMPs, allergen controls, and sanitation procedures Partner with Quality Assurance to perform routine quality checks and verify product specifications Identify and isolate non-conforming products to prevent contamination and reduce waste Promote a zero-accident culture through safety leadership and PPE compliance Ensure OSHA and company safety requirements are followed Conduct routine workplace safety inspections and maintain a clean work environment Allocate labor and direct workflow to maximize production efficiency Train and onboard employees on SOPs, safety procedures, and equipment operation Coordinate shift handoffs and document production metrics, yields, and downtime Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and elevate maintenance concerns as needed Operate production equipment and assist on the line during staffing shortages or peak production periods What We're Looking For High School Diploma or GED required Minimum 1 year of experience in food processing or manufacturing Understanding of HACCP principles, food safety requirements, and manufacturing processes Previous leadership experience such as Lead, Trainer, Coordinator, or similar role preferred Ability to translate production schedules into clear tasks for team members Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally Ability to stand, walk, bend, and twist throughout the shift Benefits Once Hired On Health insurance options available 401(k) with company match Life insurance Short-term disability insurance Long-term disability insurance Benefits Available Through Express Weekly Pay Referral Bonuses Dental Plan Vision Plan Holiday Pay 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan Life Insurance Prescription Drug Reimbursement Short-Term Disability Direct Deposit Visa Pay Card #J-18808-Ljbffr
