Ultrasound Technologist

This position requires availability to work from July 3rd to July 5th, with shifts scheduled from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM.

Job Description

The Ultrasound Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging examinations using ultrasound equipment to assist in the diagnosis of medical conditions. The role includes preparing patients for scans, operating ultrasound devices, and working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to interpret results and provide quality care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ultrasound scans as per physician orders.
• Prepare and position patients for examinations.
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure patient comfort and confidentiality.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
• Collaborate with medical staff to interpret results and provide comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active licensure as an Ultrasound Technologist
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• Completion of EDAP I & II or ENPC within 60 days of starting
• Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or declination required
• Successful completion of a comprehensive background check and drug screening
