Annual Salary: $62,202 - $72,912

The purpose of this classification is to perform administrative work associated with the Rutherford County Trustee office. Duties and responsibilities include performing work associated with accounting/financial work to include assisting with banking functions, processing accounts receivables and payables, generating reports, balancing financial statements, managing additions and corrections to the tax roll, and maintaining records. Additional duties include compiling and maintain records of accounts and reports, collecting taxes, providing customers with information regarding special programs including Tax Relief and Tax Freeze, Bankruptcy Claims, processing returned mail, assisting with investments, coordinating online and bank payments, and processing tax payments.
