About the Role

The Company is in search of an Assistant General Counsel with a focus on employment law to join its dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will be a key advisor on a wide range of employment matters, with a particular emphasis on global benefits, including wellness and ERISA compliance. This role involves providing strategic legal support across the entire employment lifecycle, from recruitment to separation, and requires a deep understanding of complex global workforce issues. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in employee benefits, M&A, and workforce restructuring, as well as a strong background in employment litigation. In addition to legal expertise, the role demands the ability to build strong cross-functional partnerships, influence senior stakeholders, and deliver clear, business-oriented advice. Applicants for the Assistant General Counsel position at the company should have a JD and active bar membership, with a preference for those licensed in California. The role is suited to a legal professional with a strong ethical code, excellent judgment, and the ability to balance legal risk with business objectives. Experience in a multi-national technology company is highly valued, and international experience is a plus.
