AssemblerJoin a dynamic manufacturing team as an Assembler on 1st or 2nd shift, where you'll contribute to the efficient assembly of trailer components. This role offers the opportunity to develop hands-on skills in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and quality. This is a 1st shift position located in Brodhead, WI.Assembler Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Operate various hand and power tools including drills, rivet guns, impact wrenches, grinders, and tape measures to assemble trailer parts.Prepare and clean metal surfaces using solvents and other specified methods.Caulk seams and joints on trailer components to ensure quality seals.Drill through aluminum, steel, and wood materials as needed according to blueprints.Assemble sub-assemblies such as hoses, axles, wiring harnesses, and doors.Position and fasten parts using bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners.Measure and mark layouts based on blueprints for precise assembly.Operate overhead cranes, hoists, and forklifts after proper training.Follow GMPs and safety protocols consistently throughout shift.Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.Assembler Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently with team assistance.Ability to stand, walk, twist, turn, push, and pull for the duration of the shift.Good hand/eye coordination and finger dexterity.Basic math skills and the ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions in English.Willingness to work on second shift, totaling 40 hours per week.Prior experience is not required; training will be provided.About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
