Interim HR Generalist / HR Manager (12-Week Contract) | Stow, OH
We're partnering with a manufacturing client in Stow, Ohio, to identify an experienced HR Generalist/HR Manager for a 12-week leave coverage assignment beginning in September.
This is a standalone HR role supporting approximately 50 employees in a unionized manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with ADP payroll processing, employee relations, union environments, workers' compensation, and HR compliance . Payroll management is the top priority for this assignment.

✅ Workers' Compensation & safety knowledge
✅ Ability to work independently as the primary HR contact

• At least 5 years of hands-on human resources experience, including broad HR generalist responsibilities.• Demonstrated success processing payroll independently; experience with ADP is strongly preferred.
• Strong Excel skills with the ability to organize data, build reports, and manage HR-related tracking.
• Prior experience supporting HR functions within a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of union workforce practices and employee relations in a labor environment.
• Familiarity with workers’ compensation administration and safety-related HR responsibilities.
• Ability to work fully onsite in Stow, Ohio for the full duration of this Contract assignment.
• Must be able to complete required pre-employment screening, including screening requirements that all candidates are expected to complete.
