Customer Care Representative- REMOTE

Job Summary TEKsystems is hiring Customer Service Representatives for a client in the Rutland, VT area. The position is remote with potential on‑site movement later. The client offers a development roadmap and career path opportunities. Qualifications 1-2 years in a customer‑facing position handling happy to irate customers 1‑year high‑volume (60+) call‑center experience Examples of de‑escalation situations handled and resolution Responsibilities Answer or place calls to customers to learn about and/or address their needs, concerns, or other issues with products or services. Respond efficiently and accurately to customers, explaining possible solutions and ensuring customers feel supported and valued. Engage in active listening and confirm or clarify information, diffusing escalated situations as needed. Build instant rapport with customers and lasting relationships with other call‑center team members based on trust and reliability. Utilize job‑specific software, databases, scripts, and tools appropriately when addressing a variety of different topics presented by customers. Understand and strive to meet or exceed call‑center metrics while providing excellent consistent customer service. Engage with customers to assess needs and make sales recommendations for products or services that may better suit identified customer needs. Participate in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of the company, products, sales and services and perform any other duties needed to help drive vision, fulfill mission, and/or abide by core values. Training The first couple weeks will be paid on‑site training with in‑depth 1:1 training. Work Environment & Hours Fast‑paced call‑center environment, Monday‑Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Pay & Benefits Pay range: $20.00 – $21.00 per hour.
