This position involves working 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced emergency room environment. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience and be prepared to adapt quickly to the needs of the unit.Key Responsibilities\n \n Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room setting.\n Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.\n Conduct patient assessments and participate in developing a plan of care.\n Collaborate with medical staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.\n Utilize EPIC charting systems proficiently for accurate patient documentation.\n Qualifications\n \n Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience required.\n Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC.\n Proficiency in EPIC charting is essential.\n Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.\n Shift Information\n This position requires the ability to work two of the three upcoming holidays and adhere to a rotating schedule of 36/48 hours every two weeks.Additional Requirements\n \n Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility.\n Fingerprinting is required, and candidates should allow 10 days for the remote process or complete it in person prior to starting.\n Flu vaccination is mandatory with a deadline of November 15.
