Role Overview

• Work in close partnership with radiologists and referring physicians, ensuring the quality of diagnostic imaging
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, reporting any malfunctions immediately
• Document procedures accurately and manage patient records within the electronic medical framework

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Valid certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
