Overview
Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER) travel assignment in Atlanta, Georgia. Start date 07/06/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,585–$1,642 per week with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift is night, 12-hour blocks (3 consecutive nights). Setting: hospital-based, high-volume ED; the role involves float pool coverage and may require rotations to adjacent acute units as needed.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct, patient-centered ED nursing care for acutely ill and injured patients, including triage, rapid assessment, and ongoing monitoring.
- Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and coordinate diagnostic tests (labs, imaging) as ordered; monitor and respond to changes in patient status.
- Support airway management, ventilation and hemodynamic stabilization per ED protocols; prepare and assist with procedures within scope.
- Collaborate with ED physicians, charge nurses, and multidisciplinary teams; document care accurately in the electronic medical record and communicate effectively at handoffs.
- Manage patient flow and bed availability for boarder patients; may float to med/surg, step-down, or ICU units if needed to support patient care demands.
- Maintain safety, infection control, and patient/family education; advocate for patient needs in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
- Active RN license (US) and ability to practice in the applicable setting
- Minimum 2 years of ER experience in a facility of similar size and acuity (Level 1 trauma experience preferred)
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Resume with no gaps, ED skills checklist, and ED references required
- Ability to work the night shift and thrive in a high-acuity ED environment
