Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process and primary nursing principles
- Ensure compliance with departmental and facility policies and standards of nursing practice
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Document and maintain accurate patient records using EPIC charting system
- Provide compassionate care to residents in a long-term care setting
Qualifications
- Current Alaska RN license in good standing
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- COVID-19 vaccination required
- Minimum 1 year of long-term care experience
- BSN preferred
- EPIC charting experience is a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in nursing process and primary nursing
- Skilled in using PCs, clinical databases, and applicable software
- Strong communication and patient advocacy skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
