Branch Operations Intern

Overview Welcome to Republic Finance’s Branch Operations Internship program. As an Intern, you will learn the day‑to‑day functions of a branch, contribute to key operations projects, and gain exposure to a variety of corporate roles. Responsibilities Assist in daily production of loan origination, processing, closings, and fundings, including auditing closed files and preparing files ready to fund. Participate in an accelerated version of the Assistant Branch Manager Program, complete loan process and regulatory training, and become licensed to sell voluntary insurance products. Work with the Manager and Regional Vice President to understand branch leadership responsibilities and promotion paths. Attend regional meetings and workshops to gain exposure to the larger Branch Operations division. Contribute to one or more Branch Operations process‑improvement projects, as identified by the Regional Vice President and Senior Vice President. Explore corporate roles that desire branch experience, such as Audit, Compliance, Training, and Recruiting. Requirements Junior or Senior in college majoring in Business, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 18–20 hours per week commitment. Eager to learn, enthusiastic, reliable with a strong work ethic. Strong communication and organizational skills. Must pass a pre‑employment drug screen and meet acceptable standards for criminal background and credit history. Eligible for insurance licensing to sell voluntary insurance products; eligibility requires a criminal background check by the state’s department of insurance. Spanish‑speaking skills are a plus for this location. Benefits Hourly pay of $15.00. Potential full‑time employment after successful completion of the program. All Full‑Time employees are eligible for Health/Dental/Vision Insurance, 15 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) plus an additional personal day, 401(k) with employer match, company‑provided Life Insurance, and Long‑Term Disability, effective the first of the month following 30 days of employment.
