Solutions Consultant

Act as a key technical expert and strategic partner to the sales team and accounting partners Own the technical solution strategy for assigned opportunities Translate complex partner needs into scalable workflows supporting long-term platform adoption and value Lead technical scoping, workflow mapping, and custom solution design alongside sales teams Support partner migrations and technical implementations using cloud accounting and workflow tools Deliver product demonstrations and technical consulting sessions to help partners upskill their teams Gather partner feedback to inform product development and influence future platform capabilities Identify risks early and guide seamless product implementations Collaborate with sales, product, customer success, and internal teams to solve operational roadblocks and support partner success Requirements Operational background within an accounting or bookkeeping firm Solid grasp of cloud accounting software ecosystems Proven experience in pre-sales, technical account management, or solutions engineering within SaaS environments Ability to communicate complex technical concepts as clear, practical guidance for diverse audiences Strong analytical problem-solving skills Ability to diagnose technical roadblocks and recommend effective workflow solutions Collaborative approach to building trusted relationships with internal teams and external partners Must currently reside, or plan to reside within 3 months, in one of Xero's payroll states: Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, or Washington D.C. Appropriate working rights for the United States Satisfactory completion of relevant background checks, which may include credit and criminal history checks Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in cloud accounting software ecosystems and technical solution strategy, with a strong focus on partner success through effective communication and problem-solving.
