Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day or Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience required. License: Valid state or compact nursing license required. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required. Must-Have: - Previous telemetry experience. - Experience with IV insulin protocols and insulin drips. - Strong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills. Description: Candidates must possess acute care experience which should be current and consistent in the last 12 months. Experience in the specialty for which they are applying is mandatory. Candidates will be required to float to different units as needed. The role includes managing patient care for adults and geriatrics. Candidates should have skills in interpretation of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions, and management of dysrhythmias. Nursing duties will involve telemetry monitoring, oxygen administration, and peripheral line care. Professional references are required from supervisors or individuals in formal leadership roles. Candidates must complete a fingerprint process urgently upon signing the contract. Responsiveness and cooperation with credentialing are essential to avoid delays.
