SAP NS2 Senior Cloud Security Engineer – TS/SCI + Poly – Chantilly, VA Active TS SCI with Polygraph required. Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SC clearance and Polygraph. This is a full‑time, on‑site position located in Chantilly, VA. Responsibilities Lead the development of a stand‑alone implementation of SAP products and solutions that meet client requirements. Develop and implement cloud‑based security policies, standards, and procedures. Maintain role‑based access controls for cloud‑based system components, users, and applications. Implement security controls such as encryption, access controls, and identity management to protect cloud assets. Apply deep knowledge of cloud‑based security technologies (firewalls, intrusion detection & prevention, vulnerability scanners, log analysis tools). Design and architect software applications for products and solutions. Use Infrastructure as Code tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, and Chef. Utilize AWS management tools such as CloudWatch and CloudTrail. Work with cloud-relevant data serialization languages such as JSON and YAML. Perform system administration with Linux (various distributions) and UNIX Shell scripting. Develop native cloud backend and frontend technologies (node.js, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Angular, etc.). Architect microservices, event‑driven, and CQRS architectures. Design horizontally scalable, multi‑tenant SaaS web applications. Deploy applications on Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes (Helm, Kustomize, ArgoCD). Develop and deploy on Cloud Foundry and other platform services. Implement Agile practices and build DevOps pipelines (Azure DevOps considered a plus). Collaborate with product managers, architects, project managers, scrum masters, developers, UX developers, and DevOps engineers to ensure successful product delivery. Apply product standards for security and performance in design. Obtain a required DoD 8570 certification (e.g., CASP+, CISSP) within 6 months of hire. Maintain relevant cloud provider certifications. Desired Experience and Skills Knowledge of SAP processes and experience with enterprise software development. Industry‑recognized system administration certification. Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and related services. Full‑stack experience with S/4HANA implementations or extensions/integrations with BTP. Understanding of core security concepts of BTP. Additional Requirements Systems Administration and/or Cloud certifications are a plus. Knowledge of Splunk or similar SIEM platform. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, Engineering, or Information Technology (Master’s preferred). Top Secret clearance with Polygraph. Compensation Range Transparency The target annual combined compensation range for this position is $131,000 – $271,600 USD. The actual amount offered will be within that range, depending on education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, and other factors.
