Descripción del Puesto:
La función principal de un trabajador de almacén es recibir, almacenar y despachar materiales, equipos y otros artículos del almacén o patio de almacenamiento.
Responsabilidades :
• Recibir y contar los artículos en inventario, y registrar los datos manualmente o utilizando la computadora
• Empacar y desempacar artículos para almacenarlos en estantes en almacenes o áreas de almacenamiento
• Verificar los cálculos de inventario comparándolos con los conteos físicos y investigar discrepancias o corregir errores
• Almacenar los artículos de manera ordenada y accesible en almacenes, cuartos de herramientas o áreas de suministros
• Marcar los artículos utilizando etiquetas de identificación, sellos, herramientas eléctricas de marcado u otro equipo de etiquetado
• Examinar e inspeccionar los artículos para detectar desgaste o defectos, e informar cualquier daño a los supervisores
Calificaciones y Requisitos :
• Diploma de escuela secundaria o GED requerido
• Habilidades de comunicación verbal y escrita, capacidad analítica y de resolución de problemas
• Trabajo en equipo y atención al detalle
• Verificación de antecedentes y prueba de drogas antes del empleo
