The Opportunity
We are seeking a hands-on Robotics Technician to support client deployments across the East Bay area, including Oakland, San Lorenzo, and Berkeley.
This is a part-time, project-based role, ideal for someone with strong troubleshooting skills who is comfortable working independently on-site.
Technicians may participate in onboarding and field training based on client needs.
*This role is ideal for someone looking to supplement their income with flexible, project-based work, rather than replace a full-time position.Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain robotic systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and respond to service requests
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and basic software issues
- Work directly with customers in professional, on-site environments
- Document service work, findings, and repairs clearly
- Stay current on robotics tools, systems, and best practices
What They’re Looking For
- Strong electromechanical troubleshooting skills
- Hands-on technician or field service experience
- Ability to work independently on-site
- Good communication with customers
- Reliable and professional work style
Preferred Qualifications
- Robotics, automation, or mechatronics experience
- PLC exposure, Allen-Bradley or Siemens
- Field service experience with customer interaction
- Preventative maintenance and repair experience
- Technical documentation experience
- Trade school or technical training is a plus
