Step into a meaningful role supporting students and educators as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst / Autism Specialist for the 2026–2027 school year. In this onsite-only contract position, you’ll provide essential behavior consultation and collaborative support across four school sites, helping to shape positive outcomes for students with autism in a vibrant educational community.
This full-time opportunity allows you to engage directly with teachers, paraprofessionals, and multidisciplinary teams, delivering expertise in the implementation of evidence-based strategies. You’ll conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and offer classroom coaching to enhance team success and student progress.
Preferred candidates are experienced in school settings, thrive in fast-paced environments, and enjoy mentoring fellow professionals.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification (must submit a screenshot with your application)
- Demonstrated experience in educational environments, particularly as a school-based BCBA/Autism Specialist
- Advanced knowledge in conducting FBAs and designing effective BIPs
- Background in coaching teachers and paraprofessionals on behavioral strategies
- Proven ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and autism-specific classrooms
- Reliable transportation for travel between sites
- Able to pass a drug screen and successfully complete fingerprinting/CORI background checks
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and consultation for behavior management
- Complete FBAs and design/implement BIPs
- Deliver training and mentoring to staff in evidence-based autism and behavioral supports
- Foster positive, collaborative relationships with educators, administrators, and families
- Maintain professional communication and consistent attendance
