Matrix Providers is hiring a physician to join our team of talented professionals who provide health care services to our Military Service Members and their families in Twentynine Palms, CA.

Employment Status: Full Time

Compensation: $220-226.51/hr

Schedule: Services shall be provided Monday through Sunday for a 13-hour shift (which includes two uncompensated 30-minute meal breaks) between the hours of 0000 to 2359. Schedule based on individual availability

Requirements: The physician must have and meet the following:

• Degree: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.).
• Education: Graduate from an accredited medical school in the United States or Canada.
• Certification: Board-eligible or board certified.
• Internship/Residency: Successful completion of an internship and residency program corresponding to the specialty required.
• Experience: As required to meet clinical competency requirements
• Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine.

MTF: Naval Hospital Twentynine Palms located in Twentynine Palms, CA. Services will be provided within the Emergency Room.

Population: This facility treats all Active Duty, their dependents or recipients. Patient ages cover all ages.

MTF uses the Genesis System for charting purposes.

Job Summary:

• Perform a full range of physician services by privileges granted by the MTF.
• Direct, perform or assist in the instruction of other health care professionals within the scope of the clinical privileges or responsibilities.
• Examine, diagnose, treat or prescribe courses of treatment within the scope of training, experience, and privileges.
• Provide preventive and health maintenance care, including annual physicals, positive health behaviors, and self-care skills through education and counseling.
• Order diagnostic tests as applicable and request consultation or referral with appropriate physicians, clinics, or other health resources as indicated.
• Technically proficient in directing and teaching other medical staff, providing educational lectures, and providing in-service training to clinic staff members. Such direction and interaction will adhere to Government and professional clinical standards and accepted clinical protocols.
