Senior Director, Translational Medicine and Clinical Biomarkers
Nurix Therapeutics
Senior Director role overseeing translational medicine and clinical biomarker strategy across Nurix's oncology and immunology portfolio. Responsible for biomarker assay development, clinical trial design input, cross-functional leadership, and translating complex science for executive audiences.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve biomarker strategy across full oncology and immunology portfolio
- Direct biomarker assay platform development, qualification standards, and vendor oversight
- Provide scientific interpretation informing patient stratification and dose-selection decisions
- Lead cross-functional teams integrating biomarker data into clinical development plans
- Manage direct reports and scale team as pipeline needs grow
Requirements
- Ph.D. or MD with 12+ years pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience
- Demonstrated biomarker strategy leadership across multiple clinical programs
- Deep technical expertise in flow cytometry, molecular biology, proteomics, tissue assays
- Proven people management experience with team scaling capability
- Experience authoring clinical protocols, ICFs, laboratory manuals, and regulatory submissions
- Executive communication skills influencing senior leadership and boards
