About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Philanthropy to lead and advance its philanthropic efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy that aligns with the organization's mission and long-term sustainability goals. This role involves cultivating and managing relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including individuals, corporations, foundations, and community leaders, to secure major philanthropic investments. The Vice President of Philanthropy will also lead a team of philanthropic professionals, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering a culture of philanthropy both within the organization and the community. Applicants for the Vice President of Philanthropy position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree and CFRE certification being desirable. A minimum of 8-10 years' leadership experience in philanthropy or related areas is required, along with a proven track record of securing major gifts and managing donor portfolios. The role demands exceptional relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills, as well as strong organizational, strategic planning, and project management abilities. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader, capable of working in close partnership with the CEO, and will be committed to the values of integrity, innovation, and continuous improvement.
