Job Summary: Nesco Resource is seeking a safety-conscious and dedicated Chemical Operator to support high-performance manufacturing operations at a leading chemical production facility. This temp-to-perm opportunity offers long-term career growth in a technologically advanced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing key chemical production processes-including blending, extraction, drying, and distillation-while maintaining strict safety, quality, and operational standards.

Shift Schedule:

• Training Schedule:
  • 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM OR 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Full Time Schedule: Once converted, rotating 12-Hour Shifts:
  o Two Day Shifts (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM)
  o 24 Hours Off
  o Two Night Shifts (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
  o Three Days Off
  • Weekly rotation advances by one day each week

Pay:

• $22.00 - $24.00 per hour (commensurate with experience, education, and qualifications)
  • If hired on full time there is a pay increase of $4.00 per hour

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate chemical processing systems in accordance with safety, environmental, and production guidelines.
• Follow all applicable cGMP and ISO protocols to ensure product integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Safely handle and dispose of hazardous chemicals and waste in line with safety procedures.
• Proactively identify and report equipment or process deviations to supervision.
• Engage in continuous improvement efforts to enhance safety, productivity, and process understanding.
• Support emergency response activities related to hazardous waste incidents.
• Obtain and maintain required process certifications and documentation.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience preferred; chemical processing experience strongly preferred .
• Entry-level candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn will be considered.
• Comfortable using hand tools, operating machinery, and utilizing computer systems.
• Must be available for overtime and flexible shift coverage as required.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• This role requires working in a chemical plant with exposure to fumes, noise, and industrial equipment.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout 12-hour shifts.
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
